GORE-TEX Upper
Constructed using a GORE-TEX upper, the boots are highly waterproof to keep your feet dry, cool and comfortable. This ensures you can comfortably wear the boots when walking and adventuring in changing and wet weather. Not only this, but the materials are highly durable to protect feet from varied conditions and provide you with a long-lasting, reliable pair of boots. A mesh and textile lining encases each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The mid-height design prevents rocks or debris from entering the boots. The tongue and collar are cushioned to keep them comfortable during adventures, and traditional laces provide you with a locked-in, secure fit. The upper features up to 50% recycled materials, making the X Ultra 360 a more conscious option.
EnergyCell Midsole
Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole of the foot. The energy produced from this will also be returned as rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. In addition to this, between the outsole and the midsole, there is a new ADV-C chassis. This targets articulations on the outer foot to optimize stability without limiting your mobility while also keeping the front of the shoe flexible for a more fluid ride. A moulded OrthoLite sockliner is extremely soft and comfortable and works to wick away moisture keeping the feet cool and dry at all times while recycled electric cables reside in the midsole for a more environmentally friendly choice.
Contagrip Outsole
Providing you with great levels of grip and traction on the changing terrain below, the boots have a Contagrip outsole. The outsole grabs hold of the ground, even when traversing across wet and slippery surfaces, increasing control and adhesion on your next adventures. The deep lugs dig deep into the ground, which will anchor you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
