Based on the legacy of the iconic X Ultra, it delivers all-terrain grip, stability and protection, however, you choose to adventure. Featuring a cushioned midsole for kilometre-defying comfort, waterproof GORE-TEX protection and a robust textile upper made from recycled materials.
Textile Upper
Engineered using a textile and mesh upper, the X Ultra 360 encases each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Not only this, but the materials are highly durable to protect feet from varied conditions and provide you with a long-lasting, reliable pair of shoes. Featuring a GORE-TEX membrane, the shoes are highly waterproof to keep your feet dry, cool and comfortable. This ensures you can comfortably wear the shoes when walking and adventuring in changing and wet weather. Utilising Salomon's Sensifit design, the shoes have a clever construction to provide you with a precise, optimal foothold and enhanced comfort while the welded, stitch-free construction provides a smooth, glove-like fit and feel to the upper. The tongue and collar are cushioned to keep them comfortable during adventures while the Quicklace system provides you with a locked-in, secure fit. The shoes come with a lace pocket to offer easy storage and the protective toe cap protects your toes from rocks and uneven surfaces. A wrap feature around the base of the foot acts as a protective mudguard to protect the lateral and medial sides of the foot. The upper is made with up to 50% recycled materials, making the X Ultra 360 a more conscious option.
EnergyCell Midsole
Within the midsole, the shoe has injected and compressed EVA which forms the EnergyCell Midsole. This multi-functional midsole will provide both comfort and protection, as it has dual-density EVA. Towards the bottom, the EVA is extremely firm, which will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as a rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The higher you get in the midsole, the EVA becomes less densely packed, which will make every step feel comfortable. In addition to this, between the outsole and the midsole, there is an Advanced Chassis. This targets articulations on the outer foot to optimise stability without limiting your mobility while also keeping the front of the shoe flexible for a more fluid ride. A moulded Ortholite sockliner is extremely soft and comfortable and works to wick away moisture keeping the feet cool and dry at all times.
All Terrain Contagrip Outsole
Providing you with great levels of grip and traction on the changing terrain below, the shoes have an All Terrain Contagrip outsole. The outsole grabs hold of the ground, even when traversing across wet and slippery surfaces, increasing control and adhesion on your next adventures. The deep lugs dig deep into the ground, which will anchor you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
