The Wind Shield Jacket from Patagonia provides lightweight wind protection and weather resistance during high-output, cold-weather activities, while also releasing excess heat and moisture through strategically placed breathable panels. Made in a Fair Trade Certified factory.
Constructed using stretchy soft-shell fabric, the Patagonia Wind Shield Jacket has been designed to ward off wind whilst remaining comfortable and without restricting your movement. The soft-shell fabric is finished with a DWR (durable water-repellent) coating that resists light rain without PFCs. Alongside this, Capilene Cool Lightweight fabric features on the inside of the jacket to provide fast-drying comfort as well as a soft next-to-skin feel. A soft brushed terry fabric at the underarms and inner sleeves further enhances comfort and adds soft warmth. Although warm, these areas allow intolerable heat build-up to be dumped even at high exertion. HeiQ Pure odour control keeps things smelling fresher for longer. A regular fit design allows for comfortable freedom of movement without excess bulk holding you back during your outdoor adventures. Minimal cuffs feature elastic on the bottom to keep sleeves in place and a shaped top for added coverage, preventing wind chill. Two zippered front pockets and two internal drop-in pockets are ideal for stashing gloves and other small items whilst one low-back zippered pocket allows you to stow away extra layers. Lastly, a full-length zip is complete with zipper garage at the collar to offer complete comfort against the skin with full control over ventilation.
