Suede Leather Upper
The Wildfire Leather has a breathable, waterproof soft, comfortable construction, thanks to the high-quality suede leather and GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining. The durable 1.4mm suede leather is flexible to allow comfortable movement of your feet, whilst being highly durable to keep feet well protected and the shoes you're wearing. The leather is protected by a 360-degree polyurethane rand. The materials have moisture-wicking properties to prevent the growth of sweat and moisture to keep feet dry during intense periods. Working with the durable material is a GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining that is highly waterproof and breathable to keep feet dry in changing weather. The lining will also allow moisture and perspiration to escape easily, meaning discomfort is prevented. A rubber toe cap protects the feet from knocks and bangs while the 3F System wraps around your foot comfortably, to allow free and flexible movement of your feet. A stretch gaiter prevents snow, scree and trail debris from entering the shoes. Completing the upper is a climbing lace system with robust kevlar cable reinforcements to lock the foot for a secure fit and feel.
EVA Midsole
Featuring a full-length EVA platform, the midsole ensures you are provided excellent cushioning and long-lasting underfoot comfort. The lightweight compound is super soft and responsive, whilst has shock-absorbing properties to reduce the risks of injury or discomfort when on long hiking days. The midsole ensures you're ready for unpredictable trails and tough terrain. To ensure comfort across the varied terrain conditions, the Wildfire Leather features an Ortholite footbed which also wicks away moisture fast to help keep feet dry.
Pomoca Speed MTN Pro Outsole
Designed to provide traction and grip on uneven terrain, the Wildfire Leather has been constructed using a POMOCA outsole. Developed for extremely slippery terrain, the durable rubber can form a solid bond with the ground to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber stands up against this, deflecting the blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. This will mean that the definition and functionality of the outsole will remain strong over a long period. The outsole has a climbing zone at the toe which ensures good edging performance. Its POMOCA Butylic compound rubber provides a better grip on rock in both dry and wet conditions, while the aggressive tread lugs offer improved traction on mud and softer terrain. Not only this, but the S-path technology of the outsole encourages a more natural roll-off.
