Utilising Mizuno's developed technology, the upper of the Wave Phantom 3 uses mesh and synthetic materials for optimal breathability and durability. The mesh allows cool air to circulate the shoe whilst removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature, so you remain comfortable when on the court whilst synthetic overlays enhance durability for a stable frame. Both materials bring a comfortable feel around the foot by reducing overlapping. The upper features a traditional lacing system which locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides, lastly, a Dura Shield protects your toes and enhances their durability.
PoWnCe and U4icX Midsole
Offering outstanding levels of comfort and cushioning, the Wave Phantom feature a PoWnCe and U4icX midsole construction. PoWnCe offers excellent comfort and resilience properties to keep you going while a U4icX compound delivers stress-free cushioned rides with high rebounds to keep you pushing during long match points. The midsole also utilises Mizuno Wave Technology, a unique construction that not only enhances the in-shoe cushioning but also, enhances stability. The Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward.
