FUTURELIGHT Upper
Made from a FUTURELIGHT membrane, the uppers of the VECTIV Exploris IIs will provide your feet with an enhanced level of lightweight breathability and waterproof protection, allowing you to tackle the outdoors with confidence. The FUTURELIGHT membrane will provide your feet with an impenetrable barrier to rain and snow, guaranteeing they remain dry and comfortable from the start, till the end of your adventures. Not only this, but the breathability of the fabrics prevents your feet from becoming uncomfortable when wearing the boots, supplying a perfect level of airflow for further keeping your feet dry. To ensure added protection, the integrated protective toe cap, rand, and heel overlays increase structure and support to keep you going on tough terrain. The VECTIV Exploris IIs have an updated width fit to accommodate a broader set of consumer foot shapes and provide you with a more comforting fit. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
VECTIV 2.0 Midsole
Featuring a VECTIV 2.0 rockered midsole, the walking boots have a forked heel and a 3D TPU plate in order to increase lateral displacement and stability. Rocker midsole geometry has been engineered to turn energy into momentum, providing you with long-lasting forward propulsion. This assists you with speed and stability, whilst also providing you with a soft landing base. Working alongside this is a premium EVA foam, to ensure complete comfort, and helps to cushion the feet as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. The soft nature of the foam ensures complete comfort on uneven terrain so you can go further for longer. The shoes have a 2mm greater stack height than their predecessors for stability, and to ensure a comfortable platform.
SurfaceCTRL Outsole
Designed to be hardwearing and grippy the Vectiv Exploris II Walking Boots have been developed using the signature SurfaceCTRL Rubber Outsole. This bio-based outsole rubber compound has been specially designed to ensure superior traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Not only does this, but it also works to ensure multi-directional traction on a wide range of surfaces, and will withstand even the toughest trails yet, whilst being flexible enough to adapt to multiple terrains providing you with complete control. The durable rubber works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping and has been designed to hold firm on uneven terrain so you can have complete confidence on the toughest terrains. Completing the outsole are 4mm lugs that provide the optimal balance between traction and durability on the trail. The lugs dig deep into wet mud and slippery rocks to ensure added traction and control.
