Mesh and Synthetic Upper
Mesh and synthetic uppers will encase each foot in durable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow, promoting a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Synthetic overlays reinforce the shoe's protective, hiking-worthy state; increasing rigidity and defending your feet against roots, rocks and general hazards. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. A traditional lace closure system will provide you with a comfortable, locked-in fit. A gusseted tongue and ankle collar will reduce the risk of irritation and improve comfort in vulnerable areas of the feet.

Lightweight EVA Midsole
The construction of the EVA midsole within the Terrex Eastrail GORE-TEX is extremely lightweight, and despite being lightweight, it won't compromise any cushioning or comfort. The midsole resides underfoot for lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm and will absorb shocks instantly and effectively, preventing them from causing any damage to the sole. The energy produced from this will also be returned as a rebound, which will give you an added spring in your step. The midsole ensures you're ready for the unpredictable trails and tough terrain. A moulded sockliner sits comfortably against the skin and provides additional underfoot comfort.
Traxion Outsole
The Traxion rubber outsole will guarantee that you are guaranteed exceptional grip and control in any conditions. Able to form a solid grip with a wide range of different surfaces, the outsole will ensure that you are always in full control. Even in wet conditions, the rubber forms a strong connection, anchoring you in place for stability. Multi-directional lugs and grooves will further hold you in place, especially on wet and muddy ground. This will assist with takeoffs, landings and changes of direction. Extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, the rubber will stand up against abuse from hard rockfaces, retaining its shape and definition to provide you with long-term functionality.
