Anti-Debris Mesh Upper
Utilising a combination of anti-debris mesh and ripstop woven fabrics, the Speedcross 6 are a durable, long-lasting trail companion. The anti-debris mesh works to efficiently prevent dirt and debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed, keeping you comfortable on the trail. Not only this but the tight mesh allows you to remain cool by supplying your feet with an optimum level of airflow so you're bound to feel fresh throughout your run. Working alongside this, the shoes are made from a woven ripstop fabric, with additional reinforcements to prevent tearing, ripping and abrasion from occurring, providing you with a long-lasting, reliable pair of shoes. A waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps you dry and cool from the inside and out, protecting you from the elements so you can run fearlessly. Utilising Salomon's Sensifit design, the shoes have a clever construction to provide you with a precise, optimal foothold and classic Speedcross comfort. Completing the uppers of the Speedcross 6 is a Quicklace closure, making it exceptionally easy for you to tighten or loosen the shoes, providing you with the iconic Salomon lace-up design. The materials within these shoes have been produced using recycled products such as PET bottles or material waste.

Sticking to previous Speedcross versions, the 6th edition features an EnergyCell+ midsole. EnergyCell+ is a high-rebound midsole technology that delivers substantial cushioning and durability. An updated outsole to their predecessors, the Speedcross 6 still have an ultra-grippy Contagrip outsole, providing you with an unmatched level of grip and traction on varied terrain. This improved compound means the shoes will not only form a solid grip between the shoe and the terrain but will work to shed mud quickly. This is due to their large lugs which provide you with the perfect level of grip on all types of terrain, including wet and muddy conditions. The deep, sharp lugs dig into the ground, anchoring you in place and acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking the next stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking or changing direction.
