Sealskinz Welney Solo Merino Fingerless Mitt

Multitasking at its finest. Use the Solo Merino Fingerless Mitt as a baselayer to keep you warm and toasty or as a light stand-alone glove on warmer days.

The Solo Merino Fingerless Mitt from Sealskinz are designed to keep you going in a variety of climates. They are ideal to line under ski gloves for extra warmth or for morning walks when you need a light layer of protection. The high Merino Wool content provides extra comfort and moisture control. Finer than traditional wool with tiny overlapping scales that case each fibre, these scales are hydrophobic (water repellent). Inside it's a different story, the fibre core is hydrophilic (highly absorbant). Merino is therefore a wicking fibre and can absorb and release 10 times more moisture than synthetics. Each fibre can absorb up to one-third of its own weight in moisture without feeling clammy or wet to the touch. In these mitts, the moisture is then wicked through the membrane to keep you feeling warm and dry. The fingerless ends are better for more nimble activities such as tying knots.
