These Sealskinz mittens have been equipped with the innovative Fusion Control technology, the Waterproof Swaffam Extreme Cold Mittens with Fusion Control are 100% waterproof and extremely breathable. This technology bonds the outer shell and the interior liner to a unique waterproof hydrophilic membrane creating a fabric that keeps you dry yet actually breathes. The bonding process eliminates movement between the layers of the mitten providing the wearer with a closer-to-skin fit that delivers an incredible range of movement, a high level of dexterity and a significant improvement in grip. A five-finger interior liner keeps you comfortable and warm whilst still giving you the benefits of a mitten. Sealskinz has incorporated PrimaLoft Gold Aerogel insulation for thermal protection, not only does this keep you warm without the bulk but the insulation is windproof and water resistant, so no matter the conditions your hands will stay warm. Increasing warmth the inner has been made with Merino Wool that works to trap in heat as well as wick away moisture. Inside the mitten, there is zero-liner movement technology for enhanced control. This means there is no pulling, slipping or bunching giving you more control when you need it most.
