Eco Mesh and GORE-TEX Upper
Providing you with the perfect level of protection, breathability and comfort when walking the trails, the Rush 2 GORE-TEX Mids utilise an Eco Mesh upper construction with a GORE-TEX membrane. The Eco Mesh works to keep feet cool, breathable and feeling fresh throughout your adventures. Perforations are placed in the fabrics to provide a constant supply of airflow, to prevent an uncomfortable build-up of heat, whilst moisture-wicking properties keep your feet feeling fresh and without a build-up of sweat and moisture. A GORE-TEX Invisible Fit lining provides you with lightweight, waterproof, breathable protection and support against poor, changing weather conditions. The shoes have a mid-cut design to provide you with added levels of protection, to help prevent dirt and debris from entering the shoes, keeping you comfortable, and the soft collar sits against your ankle snugly, without causing irritation. A 3D auto-fit ankle pad adds comfort and a reinforced toe box provides protection for feet to thrive. Working alongside this, the boots have a Sock-Fit construction which moulds to the foot for a lightweight, barely-there feel, whilst the soft padded tongue removes the risk of irritation being caused to the ankle, and works to block debris and moisture entering the shoe. Finally, a traditional lace-up provides you with a locked-in, secure fit and prevents in-shoe slipping from occurring.
Dual-Density EVA Midsole
A dual-density EVA platform provides lightweight, responsive cushioning. Generous, soft and durable, it works to protect your joints as you strike down on hard, unforgiving surfaces. Exceptionally lightweight, the EVA ensures long-lasting cushioning to keep you comfortable on long-distance days. EVA is extremely firm, and absorbs shocks instantly and effectively, protecting against any damage to the sole of the foot. Energy produced during this process is returned as rebound, giving you a pleasant, bouncy spring in your step. The shoes utilise an anti-torsion system that assists with stability when wearing the shoes.
Scarpa IKS Outsole
Exceptional grip and control is guaranteed on a wide range of different terrains, and on different surfaces with the IKS outsole. The rubber is able to form a solid connection to the ground which will create strong traction. This will keep you under control when taking on technical paths and trails. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, retaining its shape and definition even on hard and rough surfaces for long-term functionality. Lugs and grooves provide extra grip, especially in wet conditions, by anchoring the feet in place to provide a strong base to push on from.
