Scarpa Mojito Wrap GORE-TEX Walking Shoes
The urban outdoor shoe inspired by the world of climbing. An excellent new feature of the shoes is the hand-applied rubber rand, however, the lacing system is the same iconic construction as before. Lined with a GORE-TEX membrane which is Bluesign certified, keeping feet dry.
GORE-TEX Upper
Protection and comfort are ensured in the Mojito Wrap GORE-TEX Shoes, which use a sustainable suede leather upper. The protective layer keeps feet cosy when out and about, whether you're strolling through town or wandering the parks, the comfortable uppers provide you with the shielding you need. Soft against your skin, the materials prevent abrasion or chafing from occurring, whilst moisture-wicking properties prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture. Keeping your feet dry, and prepared for the changing weather conditions, the shoes utilise a GORE-TEX membrane. This material prevents water from seeping through the materials, therefore keeping your feet shielded even in wet, soggy conditions. A new addition to the Mojito range, the Mojito Wrap GORE-TEX have a full rubber rand, which protects the shoes from being damaged by knocks and bumps, or dirt and debris, whilst also protecting feet from injury. Completing the uppers is the iconic Mojito lace-up construction, to provide your feet with a locked-in, secure fit, keeping you focused on the journey ahead.
EVA Midsole
To ensure you have a good level of underfoot cushioning and protection, the hiking shoes have a medium-density EVA midsole compound. The midsole section will help to prevent injuries and joint stress, by absorbing the impact that often occurs when stepping onto uneven terrain, keeping things comfortable for you, and allowing you to remain focused on the trail ahead.
PRESA Outsole
The PRESA sole is made with a high-grip and durable compound, pronounced heel and hiking-oriented lugs, which promote braking on descents and grip on climbs. This will keep you in control when taking on technical paths and trails. The rubber is abrasion-resistant, which will retain its shape and definition despite being put to the test on hard and rough surfaces. In addition, the IKS (Interactive Kinetic System) technology, characterized by shock-absorbing areas (domes), progressively and specifically supports the weight of our body during activity in the mountains. Working alongside this, the shoes have a URBANGUM rubber compound to further provide a high level of grip and durability.
