3mm Perwanger Suede Leather Upper
With an updated upper, the Manta Tech features cleaner lines, reduced stitching and materials that facilitate the updated cosmetics of the boot. The upper maintains a perfect balance of flexion and support in the cuff area despite these changes. The Autofit Collar offers an ergonomic design with special padding to ensure maximum adaptability and comfort at the upper. This reduces the risk of stress caused by the impact on the Achilles and malleolus area for great performance comfort on any terrain. The Flex Point System allows your ankles complete freedom of movement whilst offering superior support and confidence on the trail. Designed to include a larger heel pull tab the walking boot is easier to put on and take off, especially when wearing gloves. A partial TPU rand helps with the optics whilst reducing the weight so that it does not hold you back on your outdoor adventures. New lace hardware provides added durability giving you confidence that the boot will stay secure wherever you go.
Constructed using 3mm Perwanger Suede leather and a GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort lining, the upper is incredibly durable and provides added waterproof protection and warmth. This durably waterproof and breathable upper with low insulation ensures that your feet stay protected, warm and dry during use outdoors in the rain, snow and cold temperatures as well as providing optimised climate comfort for moderate and warmer conditions. An FT last features in the Manta Tech, a proven mountaineering last that has a strong asymmetric shape focusing the forefoot in the "climbing zone" for optimal sensitivity and precision with a comfortable fit.
Multi-Density PU Midsole
Featuring a full perimeter combination rand of rubber and PU, the Scarpa Manta Tech offers abrasion resistance for added durability on uneven surfaces and tricky terrains. A multi-density PU midsole provides support and cushioning as you go. This midsole cushions each step that you take for a softer landing that reduces the risk of damage to your body and joints on your hikes. Lastly, a TPU heel insert ensures a solid interface with semi-automatic crampons.
Vibram Outsole
The outsole maintains its stability with a proven, durable and reliable package that suits the workhouse nature of the boot and underfoot assurance is maintained with the outstanding Vibram Mulaz S sole unit. The Vibram outsole is made from Mont rubber for long-lasting traction and security.
