S/LAB Running Range
Salomon's S/LAB running is designed for runners whose goals are to compete at the highest level or at least better themselves every time they lace up their shoes and put their toes on the starting line. Matryx Mesh Upper
Designed to ensure your feet feel lightweight and breathable, the upper construction of the S/LAB Phantasm CF utilises ultra-premium Matryx materials, which act as a mesh-like material. The Matryx fabrics encase your feet with optimal airflow, where the shoes allow the hot air to be removed and replaced by cool fresh air, so you can carry on with comfort, even during the more intense sessions. As well as this, the seamless featherlight collar is soft, comfortable and minimalist without sacrificing fit. Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot to reduce in-shoe slippage so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.
Energy Blade Midsole
The midsole of the Phantasm CF Racing Shoes comprises Salomon's Energy Blade technology, a composite fibre plate that is made using a unique embroidery manufacturing process. This allows a varying in stiffness under your foot, thus promoting faster forward-propulsion front landing, to toe-off, helping to save waste. Salomon's signature rocker geometry, R. Camber, ensures a quick transition so you can spend less time on the ground, and more time moving forward. Energy Surge resides in the shoe and is a lightweight, springy, and super-soft foam compound which will power your stride, and keep you comfortable throughout. Not only this, but it works with the R. Camber sole geometry to deliver you a fast, smooth transition from one stride to the next.
Contagrip Outsole
Tackle any trails in supreme confidence that you won't be let down by your shoe's grip. Using Contagrip, the outsole is able to form a solid grip between shoe and terrain. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion-resistant, which means long-term control is guaranteed. When you are on wet and muddy ground, the shoe's deep lugs dig into the ground, which will anchor you in place. This will also benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking a stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking and changing direction.
