Engineered Mesh Upper
Providing you with an exceptionally comfortable and cool in-shoe running experience, the shoes have an engineered mesh upper. The engineered mesh has a varied weave structure that offers exceptional support and durability, as well as, provides you with flexibility. This premium upper allows your feet to remain at an optimum temperature during intense training and running sessions by supplying a constant supply of airflow, to prevent overheating. Not only this, but the shoes have moisture-wicking properties to prevent a build-up of sweat and moisture meaning feet are dry and comfortable. Ensuring constant comfort and security in the shoes, the Index 02 have a soft collar construction for a more ergonomic feel. Working alongside this, the shoes have a traditional lacing system with eyelets to provide a secure, locked-in feel. The Index 02 Shoes utilises a unique recyclable construction, due to the fact that they are designed to be disassembled and recycled, thanks to an optimised construction that permits material separability.
Inifiniride Midsole
Featuring a TPU-based Infiride foam, the Index 02 offers plush cushioning with every strike and allows you to clock miles in first-class comfort. The dynamic TPU-based foam has been infused with nitrogen to deliver long-lasting cushioning and, teamed with an Ortholite insole, upgrades the comfort and performance of the Index 02. This insole has been moulded to match the contours of your foot to provide superior cushioning as well as enhance breathability and durability.
Road Contragrip Outsole
Combining flat, wide lugs to provide you with grip on flat, hard surfaces, alongside a compound that balances durability and adhesion, the Index 20 Running Shoes utilise Road Contragrip outsoles. The outsoles have been developed to promote friction on smooth surfaces for superior traction throughout the ground contact phase. The outsole is also resistant to more abrasive surfaces so that your footwear continues to perform, mile after mile. The lugs on the outsole are wide and flat as to ensure efficient and safe propulsion.
