Powertex Upper
To supply your feet with protection and comfort, the shoes have an abrasive-resistant double ripstop upper construction. This ensures a lightweight fit and feel, yet provides your feet with a great deal of protection and support when out on challenging, changing terrain. The boots are highly breathable, to prevent your feet from becoming uncomfortable, and thanks to the Powertex membrane included this is further enhanced to keep feet feeling as fresh as possible. Powertex has PFC-free waterproof properties, to keep your feet dry during wet, changing weather conditions. Moisture-wicking, the materials will work to remove excess sweat and moisture, to keep feet feeling dry and cosy. Not only this, but Powertex is also highly sustainable so you can walk in confidence. Great for rugged terrain, the Pedroc Pro Mids has a Salewa 3F system to improve the fit and improves flexibility of the upper, which enhances the support and provides a blister-free fit, dramatically improving the experience of wearing the shoes, removing irritations and distractions that come with an uncomfortable fit. Alongside this, the shoes have an Ankle Protector System, and a mid-height to encourage a comfortable fit. Providing you with a locked-in fit, the shoes have a Kevlar Cable Wrapping Net that works with the lace-up system to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring. Finally, these shoes come with a spare pair of laces to change up the style when it suits you.
MFF+ Midsole
Fitted with a Multi-Fit Footbed, the Pedroc Pro Mid Powertexs provide comfort and stability at all times. Salewa's signature MFF+ technology has interchangeable layers that allow you to further fine-tune the volume. The footbed technology has two separate, interchangeable layers that allow you to customise the fit of your footwear, by reducing the volume of the heel area or both the heel area and front section. These two interchangeable layers can be used to increase or decrease the level of cushioning and support to meet your needs. Not only this, but the shoes have an EVA midsole compound to enhance underfoot comfort, providing you with a soft landing, reducing injury and absorbing the shock during strides. As well as this, Cleansport NXT has been used within the midsole to provide effective odour control.
Pomoca Speed Hiker Pro Outsole
The Pedroc Pro Mids utilise a Pomoca Speed Hiker Pro Outsole which has a multi-directional lug pattern that works excellently on mud, grass and rock, ensuring support on a range of terrains. This outsole provides you with traction underfoot, and has improved natural rolling, thanks to the S-Path Technology. This combination of technologies will provide you with the support and traction you need to go on journeys across all distances and terrains.
