Protecting you from the tough, wet conditions, the Latok Extreme has a 3-layered waterproof fabric (GORE-TEX Pro) which has been designed to withstand abrasion in difficult environments. Windproof, breathable and highly protective, it keeps you dry when out in torrential downpours or the harshest snow storms. It's an exceptional garment, preparing you for every hurdle of your adventure. The jacket has been influenced by athletes and Rab's ambassadors, to refine the Latok series' sleeve articulation and arm lift, providing you with the most comfortable fit, that allows you to venture for hours without restrictions. A protective TriPoint Hood means you have a three-way adjustable hood, which provides you with a perfect fit, an unrestricted head turn and unhindered visibility with, or without a helmet. Not only this, but the hood allows you to get a customisable fit due to the face, crown and wind collar adjustment with smart, vanishing cord tail ends.
Supplying you with ample storage and space to organise your belongings, the jacket has four excellently sized pockets. Two strategically placed Napoleon pockets on the front of the garment to prevent interference with a climbing harness or backpack belt, allowing you to grab things easily, and two hand pockets for stashing your hands for storing additional belongings. Inside the jacket is a security clip, providing you somewhere to strap a compass, map or GPS device, which can also be fully zipped up to seal out the bad weather. An inner security pocket and deep mesh pocket are ideal for stashing more bulky items such as gloves when you're working with ropes or gear. To keep you cool when the journey starts to heat up, the jacket has two-way YKK Aquaguard fully venting pit zips, just zip down to allow air to flow through the garment, and zip up to prevent rain or water from getting in. To prevent wind chill, and keep you warm when temperatures cool, the jacket has extended cuffs with a hook and loop adjustment, which allows you to fit gloves or mitts underneath, and a dual-sided mitt-friendly rear hem adjustment to keep you comfortable and cosy.
