Featuring Pertex Quantum Pro, the jacket uses an ultra-thin water-resistant coating to provide increased weather resistance for extreme conditions. Pertex Quantum Pro delivers a high level of water resistance whilst remaining lightweight and breathable for all temperature comfort. The durable nature of the fabric works to give you peace of mind on tough ascents, it provides lightweight abrasion resistance so you'll never have to worry about tears. Pertex Quantum Pro is ideal for use in cold or damp environments where keeping warm and dry is crucial. As well as this, the Pertex fabrication maximises the efficiency of insulation to keep you toasty and warm when temperatures drop. To keep you comfortable and warm, a Goose Down has been used within the fabrication; it offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. All Rab Down products use ethically sourced European Goose Down certified to Responsible Down Standard. This ensures that our entire down supply chain can be traced so consumers can be confident that all down and feathers used in Rab products adhere to the highest possible animal welfare and safety standards. Nikwax has also been used on the jacket to keep you insulated even in wet conditions. A helmet-compatible hood can be used to shield your face when the weather takes a turn for the worst. The hood also features a drawcord adjustment and stiffened peak which allows you to find a perfect fit. A relaxed fit is designed to be slim fitting but not too tight, it supplies comfortable coverage that moves with you and provides enough room for layering if you require it. A front zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up.
