Patagonia R1 Thermal Pants
Technical fleece bottoms for the coldest alpine objectives, the R1 Thermal Pants are built to protect you from the elements and keep you warm while on the move.
Crafted from a smooth, durable outer face fabric, the pants easily shed light snow and wind, protecting you from poor weather conditions. The outer is made from breathable, articulated and ultra-stretchy Technostretch fabric that provides unrestricted movement allowing you to move freely in the mountains. Inside the pants, Patagonia has used a soft microgrid-fleece backing that wicks moisture transporting this to the outer layer of the pants, keeping you dry and comfortable as you move. The fleece also traps heat created by movement whilst sitting comfortably against the skin keeping you warm and cosy in cold conditions. The pants include a low-profile waistband, with an internal drawcord that provides an adjustable fit and is comfortable and easy to layer over. The pants have a slim fit with leg tapers through to the ankle for foot visibility and easy layering. Completing the R1 Thermal Pants are two zippered handwarmer pockets that allow you to keep small items close and secure.
