Recycled Engineered Air Mesh Upper
The Pursuit Ride Explore is constructed from recycled components to supply you with a sustainable and light choice of footwear that you can rely on when you're next exploring the city. The uppers engineered mesh fabric is made from 100% recycled plastic and keeps feet feeling comfortable, fresh and cool during the more intense running sessions. The fabric has strategic perforations to allow for constant airflow, keeping your feet cool and comfortable even when hot. This also helps to reduce the build-up of heat and moisture. The quick-drying nature of the fabric prevents sweat from accumulating, keeping your feet dry. Stretchy and soft, the materials allow feet to move, bend and flex more naturally. A nearly seamless design provides an irritation-free experience and reduces chafing or irritation. Providing a sock-like fit, the shoes have a stretchy tongue and collar for optimum comfort and a secure in-shoe fit. Finally, working alongside this are recycled laces for a locked-in, secure fit, preventing in-shoe slipping.
Recycled EVA Midsole
The Pursuit Ride Explore utilises a recycled EVA compound for a soft, comfortable landing. Softening strides with a soft level of cushioning, the cosy EVA midsole keeps feet energetic and bouncy, to prepare you for each hurdle of your adventure. Featuring the Scott Eco Kinetic Light Foam, Scott's lightest and most responsive foam to date, the midsole provides you with high rebound and super soft, light and responsive strides. The midsole is super durable, to keep you focused on the journey ahead, whilst is extremely energetic to ensure you get more energy back, allowing you to run faster for longer while exploring the world more responsibly. Working alongside this, the shoes feature Scott's ER2 Evolved Rocker technology, which provides smooth heel-to-toe transitions and a natural rocking motion for comfortable, fast running. ER2 applies Scott's advanced understanding of biomechanical principles to promote a more dynamic running position, reducing heel strike impacts and increasing running efficiency. The shoes also feature an Ortholite ECO X-40 Footbed for extra cushioning and underfoot comfort.
Flat Traction Outsole
For traction and grip on a range of surfaces, the Pursuit Ride Explore utilises a Flat Traction outsole. A large surface area remains in contact with the ground, for optimal traction, even when the conditions are wet. The outsole is designed to enhance efficient running on road and hardpack surfaces. This versatile running shoe is super durable with excellent traction for confident road running adventures.
