An update to their predecessors, the Pro Marathon Socks are crew-cut running socks with integrated PTFE fibres and an anti-slip band to prevent overheating and blisters on longer race days.
Made from a high concentration of PTFE yarn, the Pro Marathon Socks V2.0 will help to reduce irritation and friction caused when running. The materials are also comfortable and will reduce overheating when exercising, helping to prevent chafed feet or painful blisters, for enjoyable, distraction-free strides. Using thin fibres with a technical woven pattern, 360° breathability and mesh panels, the socks provide outstanding airflow and breathability, to keep feet feeling cool and comfortable, even during the warmer months. The woven materials have moisture-wicking properties, meaning moisture and sweat are wicked when pace and temperatures rise. Additionally, the socks utilise Compressport's signature 3D.Dots technology underfoot not only supplies great levels of grip but will also assist with airflow control and provide extra moisture-wicking comfort. Popular to Compressport's sock design, the Pro Marathon Socks utilise Arch Support, which provides medical-grade compression to stimulate blood flow reducing injury risk and stopping the materials from twisting and folding whilst the Achilles tendon receives additional support. An anti-slip novel band is used behind the arch support, specially developed to prevent the foot from moving around in the shoe and generating heat.
