Waterproof Upper
Supplying feet with an exceptional level of protection and comfort on the trail, the Cloudvista Waterproof have a lightweight, waterproof upper, combined with a ripstop vamp mesh. This technical upper keeps your feet protected during adverse weather conditions, without the added bulk. The uppers contain your feet in a wonderful layer of breathability, to further prevent damp feet by providing you with moisture-wicking comfort and a constant supply of airflow. Perforations in the fabrication allow warm, uncomfortable air to be effectively replaced by cool, fresh air, in order to prevent irritation within the shoes and allow you to remain focused on the trail ahead. Alongside this, any moisture that may gather during intense or warm conditions is wicked away to keep feet dry and prepared to tackle any trail running condition. This all-weather shoe has a soft, cushioned collar and tongue to keep your foot comfortably contained within the shoes, further preventing discomfort or irritation from occurring. A traditional lace-up construction helps to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring and provides you with a locked-in fit. Finally, reflective details on the eye-stays enhance your visibility during nighttime runs, therefore keeping you safe and visible in low-light conditions.
Advanced Midsole and Outsole
A combination of outstanding technologies and materials reside underfoot to provide you with an exceptional level of cushioning comfort and stability on the trail. Utilising advanced cushioning technology, the Cloudvista Waterproof Trail Running Shoes utilise On's unique CloudTec construction, which works alongside Helion superfoam to supply you with a perfect level of underfoot cushioning and energy return. This combination of materials will provide you with a balanced level of cushioning to keep your feet comfortable and provide a soft landing on the trails, whilst simultaneously absorbing impact, reducing strain and adapting well to your running style. Reacting according to your unique movements, CloudTec compresses horizontally and vertically to cushion just where it should. The horizontal deformation of the Clouds as you run does more than just absorb impact, reduce braking force and propel you forward. It also helps prevent injury so you can run pain-free.
Working alongside this, the shoes have a Speedboard plate to increase rolling sensations, allowing a more natural stride. The plate will provide you with propulsion and enhance explosive take-offs during every stride, by bending and flexing with your run to propel you forward, faster assisting you when hitting the trail. The outsole includes high-abrasion rubber pods to provide you with a strong grip on the road no matter the weather condition. In order to keep you stable and provide grip on varying terrain, the shoes utilise a newly updated MissionGrip outsole, which features squared lugs in the heel and forefoot, as well as, multi-angled lugs in the shank and toe area. This unique construction will provide you with even more traction on a variety of surfaces.
