Vamp Mesh Upper
Supplying you with a breathable, comfortable and cool upper construction, the Cloudrock 2s have a vamp mesh upper. The mesh construction has perforation within the fabric to supply your feet with a constant level of airflow in order to prevent your feet from overheating and becoming irritated, whilst simultaneously providing you with moisture-wicking comfort. Alongside this, the 20% recycled waterproof membrane allows you to trek and travel on wet floors, or in inclement downpours, due to the ability they have to keep your feet completely dry. The shoes have an improved fit great for your hiking adventures, providing you with a precise fit, especially on the forefoot. Helping to keep things stable and provide support the boots have a TPU heel stabiliser and reinforced collar, keeping your foot secure and protected on uneven ground. The shoes have a mudguard to protect your feet from knocks and bumps, providing you with a durable pair of boots you can rely on. Touches like the Flexlock lacing system mean you don't risk your laces getting caught on the other boots and provide you with a locked-in and secure fit.
Advanced Midsole and Outsole
A unique construction to On, the Cloudrock 2 Waterproof Hiking Boots utilise a CloudTec compound, which works alongside Helion superfoam to supply you with a perfect level of underfoot cushioning and energy return. This combination of materials will provide you with a balanced level of cushioning to keep your feet comfortable and provide a soft landing on the trails, whilst simultaneously absorbing impact, reducing strain and adapting well to your walking style. Reacting according to your unique movements, CloudTec compresses horizontally and vertically to cushion just where it should. The horizontal deformation of the Clouds as you run does more than just absorb impact, reduce braking force and propel you forward. It also helps prevent injury so you can run pain-free.
Providing powerful energy return, the Cloudrock 2 Waterproof Hiking Boots utilise On's rocker-shaped Speedboard plate through the midsole. This works by harnessing the kinetic energy generated as you walk, and turning it into momentum, bending and flexing while you move to push you forwards. This powerful technology helps to provide responsive precision during every step. The boots also feature a closed midsole, which avoids stone eating whilst also ensuring things remain lightweight and agile. Utilising a newly updated Missiongrip rubber compound and new forefoot lugs, the Cloudrock 2s have exceptional grip and traction when traversing in dry and wet conditions.
