Woven Upper
Utilising a high-tech, thin one-piece woven upper, the Cloudboom Echo 3 Running Shoes work to keep your feet cool, comfortable and lightweight, even during intense sessions. Strategically placed engineered mesh zones are provided which provide your feet with high levels of breathability. Not only does this ensure feet remain cool, but it will also ensure that moisture is wicked effectively, therefore ensuring feet remain dry and preventing water absorption. This combination of materials is provided in a one-piece upper meaning irritation and chafing are prevented for the optimal level of in-shoe comfort. Not only this, but this construction provides you with exceptional support during racing, alongside a padded tongue with small cutouts, the shoes have high levels of comfort and additional breathability. The shoes have a race-specific fit, meaning secure friction is provided, keeping you focused when competing and during serious running endeavours. Helping to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring, the shoes have laces with small silicone dots, which helps to prevent unlacing during a race.

Unique to On, the Cloudboom Echo 3s has a CloudTec midsole, outsole compound, which supplies you with a soft, cushioned midsole, that has a large, yet legal stack height. Advanced cushioning technology, CloudTec, adapts to every runner thanks to Cloud elements in the forefoot that react to your unique movements delivering soft landings alongside a powerful take-off. This cushioning technology is proven to reduce muscle fatigue and lower your heart rate so that you are able to run faster for longer. Swiss-engineered to deliver comfort, support and a more efficient run, CloudTec is a completely unique cushioning system. It absorbs impact, reduces strain and adapts to your running style to create a sensation loved by runners around the world. Reacting according to your unique movements, CloudTec compresses horizontally and vertically to cushion just where it should. The horizontal deformation of the Clouds as you run does more than just absorb impact, reduce braking force and propels you forward. It also helps prevent injury so you can run pain-free.
Making every step effortless, the shoes utilise On's Helion X1 Pebax superfoam. The Helion X1 will provide you with exceptional levels of energy return for comfortable, confident strides, and works to cushion every step for a responsive, soft landing. Alongside this, is a rocker-shaped full-carbon Speedboard that will provide you with superior propulsion and more explosive take-offs during every stride. The plate bends and flexes with your run, to propel you forward, faster assisting you when hitting those PBs. The shoes have a moulded and perforated sockliner with a silicon print, which helps to prevent slipping and reduce friction within the shoes. Finally, to provide an outstanding level of grip and traction on varying surfaces, the shoes have thin, rubber pads that have been placed in key impact areas underfoot and in the heel. A larger forefoot pad will provide you with more surface area for improved traction during the toe-off, therefore enhancing your grip when traversing across different road conditions.
