Engineered Mesh Upper
For a lightweight, comfortable wearing experience, the Omni 22 has been designed using an engineered mesh upper. Providing feet with a constant supply of airflow, the upper keeps you feeling cool and comfortable. Perforations enable cool, refreshing air to circulate whilst at the same time removing unwanted warm air to help regulate temperature. Durable reinforcements add support and stability, offering protection in high-wearing areas as well as, keeping the upper sturdy for a locked-in sensation. The soft, padded collar and tongue sit close to the foot to help irritation and chafing, further increasing comfort levels. Finally, the traditional lacing system locks the midfoot to prevent excessive movement and reduce in-shoe slipping.
PWRRUN+ Midsole
Upgraded from their predecessors, the Omni 22 features PWRRUN+ technology through the midsole, a springy, powerful, flexible and extremely durable compound to keep you bouncy and soft on your feet. Noticeably bouncier and more durable than standard EVA cushioning, PWRRUN+ provides a cushioned. The soft midsole works to absorb impact when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces, meaning fatigue and discomfort are reduced, allowing you to push for longer and is also highly durable and increases the shoe's longevity. Saucony has added a Hollow-Tech guidance system to help keep you stable and centred. The guidance system curves up the medial heel to offer your foot sufficient support. The midsole has also been redesigned with an updated rocker geometry, providing smooth heel-toe transitions, for confident, natural strides and a comfortable experience.
XT-900 Outsole
Utilising high-wearing, durable rubber in areas that need it most, the Omni 22 features an XT-900 rubber outsole. This offers feet with optimal grip and traction across a range of surfaces, allowing you to stride with confidence. The rubber ensures a solid connection on the ground, to ensure a firm base as you push off, making your gait cycle more efficient. Flex grooves adorn the outsole, to provide a secure footing and flexibility underfoot for efficient landing and take-offs.
