OMM SuperSonic Smock
The SuperSonic Smock combines PointZero shell with a PrimaLoft Next Evolve 75g lining. Designed to be warned against the skin or as an additional layer. Amazing insulation and windproofness makes this a number one cool weather top.
Designed to provide comfort and protection as you run through the trails, the SuperSonic Smock has been constructed using OMM's signature PointZero shell fabric. PointZero is a 22gsm nylon ripstop fabric that is downproof, highly wind and water-resistant. The durable nature of the fabric resists wear and tear to give you complete confidence as you move through uneven terrain and severe conditions. The high wind resistance works to keep you comfortable and warm when temperatures drop by blocking out cold winds and reducing cold spots within the jacket. As well as this, the shell fabric has also been treated with DWR to ensure protection from light rain and snow. The jacket repels moisture to ensure you remain comfortable and dry when the clouds roll in. As well as this, within the smock Primaloft Next Evolve has been used to ensure added comfort and warmth. The insulation works to trap escaping heat within its fibres to keep your core temperature stabilised at all times. As well as this, the insulation is flat and packable, allowing you to make a wide range of unrestricted movements, as well as being able to put the jacket away in a small space for convenience. Should you get too hot in the jacket, the Primaloft will allow a steady flow of air in and out of it, and this constant process will keep you feeling at a comfortable temperature. A half zip down the front of the jacket will block out all wind from entering and causing discomfort, and it can also be quickly adjusted to allow more air in and out of it. A larger insulated hand and map pocket stores essentials plus, it can be reversed to form a fleece pillow. Lastly, a zipped pocket reverses to make a waistbelt. These features also make the jacket packable.
