Desinged for those moving fast and light, the Alpine Jacket in Rab's Mythic series is an extremely warm down jacket that you can climb in, stash easily, and throw on when you need an instant boost of heat. Rab have shaved the grams wherever possible with a lightweight, low-bulk, stitch-through construction that stabilises the down whilst still allowing for excellent breathability. Squares feature around the core to maximise warmth and regular baffles on the sleeves help to improve mobility. The jacket has also been designed to allow easy arm lift, movement, and articulation, thanks to pre-curved and articulated sleeves, perfect for climbing. Further keeping weight at a minimum, Rab has used an ultralight 10D outer that is 100% recycled. This Pertex Quantum fabric has been teamed with a built-in ripstop for a strong, durable and weather-protective outer that also feels soft to the touch. With a slim fit and low-bulk design, the jacket can be easily layered under a shell. It helps to manage moisture through your gear, making it ideal for moving at pace. The down-filled hood features a part elasticated opening and stiffened peak for an adjustable fit to block out the harsh weather with a YKK VISLON full zip assist in putting the jacket on and off. Two YKK zippered hand pockets allow you to safely store your essential items while the dual-sided rear hem adjustment with an anti-snag tether enables you to alter the fit to a more personalised one. The jacket can be packed into the stuff sack for easy transportation and features a webbing loop which can be used to attach the jacket to a harness.
