Waterproof warm and lightweight Mountain Mitts make a fantastic winter refuge.
Whether worn all day or kept as a backup pair Mountain Mitts provide a waterproof and warm shelter from the worst of the weather. The outer of the mitts have been made with durable and abrasion-resistant Nylon to keep them looking in top condition wear after wear. To keep you warm they have included POLARLOFT insulation that provides reliable warmth. POLARLOFT Synthetic insulation offers an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, small pack size, and performance optimised for its intended use. Inside the mitts, a brushed tricot lining has been included to increase warmth, with a comfy next-to-skin feel. Also included in the mitts is a DRILITE insert that seals out the worst of the weather, Drilite is Mountain Equipment's own, breathable, waterproof fabric. This allows built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst stopping water molecules into the gloves keeping your hand dry and warm at all times. The mitts feature a Suregrip palm that improves grip on poles or ice axes. Finishing the mitts single-handed drawcord closure that easily seals out the elements.
