Balancing the moisture transfer required for running up exposed ice fields with the durability needed for rock climbing in the high mountains. The specially developed Octayarn Warp-knit lining offers insulation you can move fast in, combined with rapid drying that will be appreciated on one-day sprints and multi-day missions alike.
The Mountain equipment Kinesis Jacket has been created with a lightweight HeliumAP outer fabric with mechanical stretch, which is highly breathable and wind resistant. The stretch fabric allows you to move comfortably as you tackle the mountains, whilst allowing built-up heat to escape keeping you at the perfect temperature to perform at your best. Inside the jacket, an Octayarn Warp-knit lining has been added. This provides you with exceptional insulation for those cold days, whilst this also increases comfort, for a cosy next-to-skin feel. Not only this but the lining is highly wicking and quick drying, the yarn pushes excess sweat and moisture, to the outer layer of the jacket for quick evaporation keeping you dry. The jacket has been made with an active fit and articulated sleeves, providing you with increased mobility, and making it easier when climbing on the mountains. Providing you with protection from the changing weather, Mountain Equipment has included a Mountain HC Hood that is fully adjustable, providing you with a custom fit when keeping out of the rain. Helping to keep heat in the jacket has adjustable cuffs and dual tether hem drawcord, whilst a 2-way YKK moulded centre front zip, can be zipped down to increase ventilation when too hot or zipped up to stay warm. Finishing the jacket are two zipped hand pockets and Napoleon chest pocket, offering storage space for your essential items. The jacket can be packed into its hand pocket with twin karabiner carry loops.
