OMM Mountain Core Smock
Combining revolutionary PrimaLoft Active insulation with OMM's lightweight and wind-resistant Flexile shell, the Mountain Core Smock is an incredibly effective insulating layer that still provides excellent breathability during activities with variable output.
The Mountain Core Smock from OMM has been created with a Flexile shell with 4-way stretch and stretch panels. The shell is wind-resistant and water-resistant thanks to a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating, which keeps you dry and warm in light showers. Also, the 4-way stretch allows you to move freely, without restricting your movement so you can continue your adventure distraction-free. The shell is highly breathable, allowing fresh air to circulate the smock whilst preventing a build-up of heat, providing you with the perfect temperature. The garment features PrimaLoft Active to ensure an increased level of warmth and comfort on your adventures and is built from a synthetic plume, woven through a knitted mesh, offering the warmth of a fleece yet with less than half the weight. This has all the benefits of synthetic insulation, products in the Core range are designed to work wet or dry with incredible wicking properties to ensure you won't stay wet for long. Using the 125g/m2 weight of PrimaLoft Active means 65% of the insulation is derived from recycled sources. The smock features a YKK quarter-length zip, that helps with easy on/off whilst also helping to control ventilation, when down this increases airflow keeping you cool and when up, traps heat keeping you toasty on those colder days. Completing the OMM Mountain Core Smock is a large front fleece lined through-pocket to provide you with a space to store your essential items, this reverses to form a fleece pillow when resting your head.
