Jacquard Mesh Upper
Designed to provide comfort and protection, the Merrell Morphlite has been constructed using a lightweight jacquard mesh upper. Acting as a lightweight second skin, the mesh ensures you can go the distance comfortably. Perforations in the fabric encourage cool air to circulate, removing uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment for your foot to thrive in. The padded collar reduces the risk of chafing and irritation and the heel counter provides added stability. The internal bootie construction and traditional lacing system provide a locked-in feel. Completing the upper is a Cleansport NXT treatment which helps to prevent the growth of odour-causing bacteria, keeping the shoes fresher for longer.
FloatPro Foam Midsole
Within the midsole Merrell's signature FloatPro Foam has been used to ensure a light, durable ride. The midsole ensures ample underfoot cushioning to reduce the impact placed upon the feet on tough trails whilst remaining as lightweight as possible so you'll never feel weighed down. The lightweight midsole offers supreme cushioning and support to key areas like the arch and heel, securing the foot for a smoother transition and wear. By supporting these key areas of the foot, the midsole material can also offer enough support to help prevent discomfort and possible injury.
Merrell Sticky Rubber Outsole
Developed using a Merrell Sticky Rubber outsole, the Morphlite provides extreme grip and traction for all surface wear. Developed for slippery terrain, the extremely durable rubber can form a solid bond with the ground beneath to anchor you in place. Despite facing abuse from rough ground, the rubber remains robust, resisting damage and retaining a strong shape and structure. The outsole pattern with multi-directional, varied-depth lugs ensures traction on varied terrain to give you a confident footing on technical trails.
