Breathable Mesh Upper
Enhancing breathability and in-shoe comfort, the Wave Leopardus Hockey Shoes utilise a breathable mesh upper. Strategically placed perforations in the fabric provide you with exceptional levels of breathability to prevent feet from overheating and ensure you remain focused during those important games. The materials are moisture-wicking to help prevent an uncomfortable growth of moisture and sweat, even during the more intense games. Alongside this, the hockey shoes have synthetic leather materials for adding support during lateral movements, as well as, providing you protection from impact and abrasions. Finally, a traditional lace-up provides you with a secure, locked-in fit, helping to prevent in-shoe slipping from occurring and keeping you comfortable during matches and training sessions.
PoWnCe Midsole
Designed to provide comfort and protection, the midsole had been constructed using Mizuno's signature PoWnCe cushioning. PoWnCe which offers excellent comfort and resilience properties, the lightweight construction ensures an abundance of cushioning underfoot that works to keep your feet comfortable through any match. Additionally, this shoe wouldn't be called the Wave Leopardus without Mizuno's signature Wave technology. The Mizuno Wave provides flexibility in one direction and support in the other. The Wave absorbs shock without compromising the comfort or cushioning of the midsole, ensuring you stay comfortable at all times. The initial shock is then transferred back to guide you onto the next movement. The Wave prevents partial deformation and provides dynamic support to stabilise and guide the foot forward. Finishing the Midsole Mizuno have incorporated a layer of MIZUNO ENERZY, this has been created to deliver a higher-than-ever energy return and softness helping you to power through training and matches and perform at your best.
X-10 Rubber Outsole
Developed to provide traction and grip, the X-10 outsole is the perfect addition to the Wave Leopardus. The X-10 outsole provides superb traction on the court for quick and dynamic movement whilst also increasing overall durability so you can continue with complete confidence. X-10 allows for longer wear in high-impact areas and provides more traction during heel strike so you'll always feel in complete control. Specifically engineered diagonal grooves known as D-Flex Grooves have been built into the midfoot area of the shoe to allow the player to turn at maximum speed and power by efficiently transferring natural body movement and change in direction.
