Puma Magnify Nitro Surge Women's Running Shoes
It's all about a comfortable ride with the Magnify Nitro, and this season Puma has retooled this model with an engineered mesh upper and combined it with a new 'cat's tongue' material to keep your feet secure.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Offering optimal levels of breathability and comfort, the Magnify Nitro Surge features an engineered mesh upper. The mesh enables a constant supply of air to flow freely, providing a comfortable, cosy fit and feel. Puma Formstrip reinforcements have been added to the upper to keep feet protected against chafing and abrasion. Not only this but the Puma Formstrip on the lateral side enhances the structure of the shoe, supports the foot and reduces in-shoe movement while a new 'cat's tongue' padded mesh tongue enhances airflow and increases comfort. A TPU heel spoiler moulds to your heel to reduce excessive movement and finally, the shoes have a traditional lacing system to provide a secure, locked-in fit whilst preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.
NITROFOAM Midsole
Using Puma's nitrogen-infused thermoplastic foam, the Magnify Nitro utilises a NITROFOAM midsole. NITROFOAM is an extremely lightweight, highly responsive cushioning. By infusing nitrogen into their foams, Puma has been able to expand the midsole, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable compound for feet to land. Also, the foam enhances forward propulsion, helping you to hit those PBs. The shoes use NITROFOAM for explosive energy return, adding a spring to your step and ensuring soft cushioning underfoot. Working with this to add even more cushioning to your landing, the shoes have a PROFOAMLITE compound, adding durability and flexibility underfoot, ensuring instant cushioning and a responsive ride. The durable midsole has shock-absorbing properties to reduce the risks of injury or discomfort when striking down on hard and unforgiving surfaces.
PUMAGRIP Outsole
Constructed from a durable rubber compound, the Magnify Nitro features a PUMAGRIP outsole, providing high durability and superior levels of grip and traction, to keep you secure underfoot. Creating a grip with the ground below, the rubber has been strategically placed for multi-surface traction underfoot, even when the ground is wet so you're able to stay focused on the road ahead. Rubber placements on the heel have been included to help increase durability and help increase the life of the shoe.
