Air Mesh Upper
The Ligra 7 utilises an air mesh upper, to provide a comfortable and cool wearing experience. The materials allow air to fully permeate the entire upper providing a constant supply of cool, fresh air, and simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air residing in the uppers during intense activity. In addition, synthetic overlays wrap around the upper to enhance structural integrity, whilst a synthetic leather toe bumper further adds durability to the structure of the shoes, protecting toes from knocks and bumps. The overlays work with the lacing system to provide a better and more snug fit, preventing any slipping from occurring during activity.
EVA Midsole
An EVA midsole compound is utilised through the midsole to provide feet with excellent cushioning and rebound properties. The EVA absorbs the shock and impact forces during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle and harnesses the energy created. From there the harnessed energy is transferred to the forefoot area and will then be used to propel you into the next step.
Adiwear Outsole
The Ligra 7 outsole is constructed from a blown Adiwear Rubber to help prevent wear and tear and is used in higher-wearing areas of the outsole where you may need it the most, allowing you to play for longer. The outsole provides excellent grip on indoor surfaces, making this shoe a must-have, especially when new to the volleyball game. The outsole is also non-marking, to protect the court you are playing on and making it perfect for all indoor courts.
