Resistant Mesh Upper
The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane in the upper ensures the boots are durably waterproof combined with optimised breathability offering enduring weather protection. Water stays on the outside while perspiration can easily escape from the inside, thanks to their non-insulated construction they are the ideal solution for people who value outstanding climate comfort and heat release. This approach shoe is designed for hikers and backpackers with heavy loads. The protective, abrasion resistant rubber rand and toecap guarantees maximum protection, while the 3D Flex System allows for maximum mobility and safety on holds. The 3D flex system allows maximum precision on holds and freedom of movement in complete safety while an extremely secure lacing system will provide complete comfort and control.
EVA Midsole
The midsole on the TxS Guide is designed to provide the perfect balance of fluidity, stability and flexibility. Towards the bottom of the midsole, the EVA is extremely firm and will absorb shocks instantly. This will prevent them from reaching the sole of the foot, and it will also improve the stability of the shoe by spreading the energy evenly. The EVA towards the top of the midsole softer, which will provide underfoot cushioning. Completing the midsole is an ortholite ergonomic footbed that provides ample underfoot cushioning and increased moisture management so you can go further for longer in complete comfort.
Vibram Rubber Outsole
Completing the La Sportiva TxS Walking Boots is a Vibram MegaGrip outsole that ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. This high-performance rubber compound gifts you with an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber is able to form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. As well as this, the outsole has been fitted with an Impact Brake System, the outsole will assist with technical descents, which will relax you as you head down the hills.
