Hard-wearing Leather Upper
The TX4 is a tough leather shoe designed for technical approach routes. The hard-wearing suede leather uppers give the shoe a strong, sturdy feel, and can take anything the trails and mountains throw at them. This shoe is the most structured and long-lasting in the Traverse X series, and one of the most durable in the world today. The uppers are protected by 1.5mm of PU TechLite rand, which offers a high level of abrasion resistance plus, a mesh lining is included, which protects the foot from all elements. To avoid damp feet, and therefore dampened spirits, a GORE-TEX membrane resides inside the shoe; supplying a combination of durable waterproofing and optimised breathability. Sometimes it's hard to stay dry without developing that distracting clammy feeling, but GORE-TEX keeps water on the outside while letting perspiration escape from the inside; keeping sweat to a minimum and you, cool and comfy. Lastly, the lacing system of this shoe takes inspiration from La Sportiva's long history of cutting-edge climbing shoes and can be used in the mountains quickly and easily. EVA Midsole
The Midsole of the TX4 is made from EVA, which offers outstanding stress and impact resistance properties while retaining a comfortable fit.
