La Sportiva Traverse X 2 Evo Walking Shoes

Breathable Knitted Upper
Constructed from a breathable knitted upper alongside recycled yarn, with differentiated elasticity, the TX2 Evo Shoes are exceptionally comfortable, and lightweight. The material allows air to fully permeate it, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air that resides during heavy exertion activities. The elasticity of the fabric allows the shoes to obtain a stretchy, comfortable construction for extra support, and less restriction for your feet. The shoes have a clean, smooth design with an integrated tongue inside which eliminates gaps, and perfectly wraps the foot for maximum comfort and protection. The TX2 Evo's also have a seamless structure, which therefore has abrasion-resistant and non-chafing properties for total comfort and fewer distractions. The shoes utilise 100% recycled laces, for a traditional lace-up system, ensuring feet remain locked in and supported. The lacing system is derived from the Mythos climbing model and regulates tension and inner volumes in one simple move, while a rubber toe bumper provides protection to the toes when on tricky trails. Inside the shoes is a soft fabric lining that will provide excellent comfort throughout the ankle area, allowing you to focus on the task in front of you. All of these features combine the comfort of a trail running shoe with the technical characteristics of a climbing shoe. Finally, the upper has a C2 Combo Cord (elastic cord) that allows you to easily pair and store your shoes compactly in a backpack or even attach them to a harness, for exceptional storage.
Recycled Compression EVA Midsole
The TX2 Evo uses a Recycled Compression EVA Midsole which differs from the standard compression moulded EVA midsole for a high degree of cushioning and better rebound properties. These features assist the toe-off phase of the gait cycle while running, making these ideal shoes on offroad trails. Furthermore, EVA-injected midsoles drastically reduce the squash effect of the EVA over time, allowing the product to maintain the same characteristics and high performance for its entire duration. Additionally, an Ortholite Hybrid Approach footbed provides additional cushioning for comfort on the trail, and a non-slip mesh construction ensures cool air is provided to your feet. The highly breathable PU foam cells ensure that the foot is always dry and kept at the perfect temperature.
Vibram IdroGrip Outsole
Exceptional in providing grip on a range of terrain and surfaces, such as wet conditions, the Vibram IdroGrip compound is perfect for activities ranging from Fly Fishing to technical approaches and easy climbing. Its superior performance on wet rock makes it the perfect compound for difficult trekking trails where overall super performance is required. Not only this, but the outsole has climbing zone grooves designed for maximum grip on technical terrain.
