The Kento Pro High GORE-TEX utilises a high-quality hybrid shell constructed from Mastratto split leather for "made in Italy" sustainability, alongside protection, comfort and warmth for all your future mountaineering adventures. The durable uppers will help protect the boots from damage when trekking tricky trails, keeping things long-lasting against bumps and scrapes. Additionally, the materials provide you with a snug, warm sensation to keep feet toasty in up to -20°C winter weather. Featuring a GORE-TEX membrane, the boots will keep feet dry throughout harsh, wet weather. The GORE-TEX lining is also super breathable to prevent feet from overheating and provide a quick-drying experience to reduce the build-up of sweat and moisture when you're on long winter expeditions. A pre-shaped tongue construction is super comfortable against your feet and helps to prevent dirt and debris from entering the boots. A 2-zone lacing system allows you to adjust to accommodate the hike you are on. Not only this, but the laces allow you to get the best possible fit, reducing in-shoe slipping from occurring. Finally, the uppers are compatible with semi-automatic crampons for hiking in winter weather.
3D Memo Foam Midsole
The Kento Pro High GORE-TEX provides outstanding cushioning, utilising a 3D Memo Foam compound. The cushioning adapts to your foot shape for exceptional comfort, support and blister prevention for an irritation-free, soft experience. The construction works with an EVA midsole compound to soften your landing, energising your steps and absorbing impact when striking down on tough surfaces, for a comfortable ride. Additionally, Motion Control technology features inside the shoes, a reinforced, flexible interior that helps reduce ankle twisting and still allows you to move freely, while keeping you stable on the trails. This works with a special high heel cap to enhance stability further.
Vibram Hexa Tech Outsole
For confident strides on all surface types, the Kento Pro High GORE-TEX features a combined Vibram and Mammut outsole. The Vibram Hexa Tech compound is super durable and tacky to provide you with outstanding grip and traction when out on difficult and constantly changing terrain. The outsole will supply the optimum level of traction needed when things get wet and muddy, whilst also ensuring you remain stable across rocky ground. Adorning the outsole are lugs which dig deep into the ground below.
