This stylish jacket is a cosy, comfortable, and robust partner for lengthy hiking adventures. Made from recycled Nylon woven Ripstop, it offers exceptional durability and enhanced longevity, enabling you to concentrate on the trails ahead and enjoy every challenging ascent. Cordura overlays feature in areas of the jacket that are usually higher-wearing for added protection, such as the yoke, hood and upper sleeves. The materials have a PFC-free durable water repellent finish to keep you dry in light rain and moist conditions, for enjoyable strides during varying weather. Ensuring optimum warmth and comfort on cold-weather adventures, the Kalix features hybrid insulation, combining 700-fill goose down alongside a layer of Heatseeker synthetic insulation, for lofty down insulation in chilly conditions. The down insulation is RDS-certified by CU, meaning it has been ethically sourced, responsibly produced and is traceable, whilst still delivering an exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio. Heatseeker is present in areas that are more susceptible to getting chilly and provides durable lightweight, yet compressible cosiness.
To provide extra coverage and comfort in changing conditions, the jacket has an attached, adjustable elastic-bound, three-piece hood with a cinch cord and cord lock on the back, ensuring protection in wind and rain and keeping your head warm when you most need it. Stretch binding at the cuffs and an adjustable internal cinch cord and cord lock at the hem provide windchill prevention. Providing you with an easy on-and-off system and a great way to control the ventilation throughout, the jacket has a two-way centre front zip with an internal draft flap. The garment has a secure zip chest pocket, hand pockets, and an internal drop-in chest pocket for stashing essentials safely and securely. A heat transfer logo on the left chest and back-right shoulder provides a stylish look, whilst set-in sleeves allow for great freedom of movement.
