Engineered Mesh Upper
Created with an engineered mesh upper, the Journey Run envelopes your foot in breathable comfort. The shoes feature a contoured fit, that follows the shape of the foot, providing a comfortable feel as soon as you lace up. The mesh allows a constant airflow to enter and exit the shoes. As you begin to exercise and your training intensifies, warm air will build up within the shoes. The perforations within the upper will allow the built-up heat to escape easily, which will be replaced by cooler air. The mesh material guarantees outstanding comfort and superior breathability, keeping your feet fresh and well-ventilated. Moisture-managing, the upper also wicks away sweat and excess moisture from the feet, transporting it to the outer of the shoe allowing quicker evaporation and ensuring dry and fresh feet during active movements. The responsive cushioning will take the pressure off the knees and ankles to reduce the risk of injuries occurring, allowing you to carry on without any distractions.
Rubber Outsole
Completing the Nike Journey Run is a durable rubber outsole. The design of the outsole provides smooth transitions for calm strides. Flex grooves in the outsole move naturally with your foot, from heel to toe ensuring the shoes mimic the natural movements of your run. Made with Nike Grind materials, the outsole is super lightweight and does good for the planet. Nike Grind is made up of surplus manufacturing materials and recycled shoes. The rubber is highly durable, resisting wear in high-wear areas for better traction on the pavement.
