Hoka Tecton X Women's Trail Running Shoes

Named after the earth's tectonic plates, which inspired its revoluntionary parallel carbon fiber plate technology, the new Hoka Tecton X is poised to unleash a seismic shift in trail running. Built for speed, with a Profly X midsole bolstered by a Vibram Megagrip Litebase outsole, the Tecton X is Hoka's first trail shoe to incorporate dynamically propulsive, dual parallel carbon fiber plates.

Jacquard Mesh Upper

Constructed with an Jacquard engineered mesh, the Hoka Tecton X Trail Running Shoes offers a secure fit that hugs the foot for optimum comfort and flexibility, whilst remaining highly breathable. Allowing cool air to permeate the fabric, uncomfortable heat build-up is removed creating a healthy environment feet can thrive in. With larger perforations over the toe box and some smaller vents over the mid foot and at the arch. A gusseted tongue provides you with a lightweight mid-foot lockdown ensuring that your feet remain in place. Cushioning around the ankle keeps you comfortable providing you with cushioning whilst you're on the go. Lastly, a protective toe rand provides optimal protection from rocks and trail debris.

ProFly X Midsole

Designed using a ProFly X midsole, the Tecton X ensures cushioning, comfort and most of all propulsion. The Profly X midsole provides you with a soft, propulsive experience by protecting you during a heel strike and propelling you forward for a firm toe-off. Two parallel carbon fibre plates also reside in the midsole which curls under your toes to deliver a smoother transition throughout the gait cycle. The carbon plates minimise energy loss, increases propulsion and deliver an abundance of structural support making running feel effortless and giving you the confidence to reach new PB's. This design supports a runner's natural form while promoting an efficient, smooth roll from initial impact to toe off.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Completing the Hoka Tecton X Trail Running Shoes is a Vibram MegaGrip with Litebase construction outsole that ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. This high-performance rubber compound gifts you with an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity, and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber is able to form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. Zonal rubber placement ensures traction and grip where you need it the most whilst remaining lightweight so you can cut through tough terrain with ease. Furthermore, deep lugs adorn the outsole to provide flexible and sticky multi-directional traction as you tackle awkward ascents and daring descents. The lugs ensure additional support and stability so you can continue with complete confidence that your footwear will support you on any outdoor adventure.

Hoka shoes tend to be quite snug over the midfoot so consider whether a wide fitting Hoka shoe may be more suitable.
