The comfortable, well-ventilated back system; snug fit that keeps the load close to your centre of gravity; ergonomic, detachable hip fins; hard-wearing materials; improved attachment systems; and stowable rope strap all combine to generate fine-tuned load control and maximum freedom of movement on multi-day alpine projects.
Supplying you optimum comfort across different types and lengths of hiking adventures, the Guide 34+8 has an Alpine System which makes the pack great in alpine regions. Ensuring an optimum balance of carrying comfort, durability and function, the Alpine system has softstripe pads which embrace your back with flexibility, allowing comfortable and free movement. Alongside this, the system has a streamlined pack sack, whilst ensuring the load is always close to the body's centre of gravity, for full control. The Guide 34+8 has a Delrin U-frame for stability and essential weight transfer, preventing the load from becoming too much when hiking. Load adjustment straps feature alongside an adjustable sternum belt, and adjustable sternum strap with a signal whistle. Working alongside this, a padded, removable hip belt helps to provide you with multiple points of adjustment and a stable-fitting backpack. Additionally, the VariFlex System makes the backpack easily adjustable across the back to suit your preferences best. The pack has multiple compartments, loops and pockets so that you can store and stash your essentials easily, including a main compartment with a J-shaped front zipper with an elasticated inner for wet clothing, or a water reservoir. It is also compatible with a 3-litre drinking system to keep you hydrated. Providing you with extendable volume, the Guide 34 has a height-adjustable lid, which can be removed, or things can be stashed in the compartment for convenience.
