Its brushed texture creates a softer feel to improve comfort while providing advanced airflow. The shoes feature a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot and reduces in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides. Completing the upper is an Ortholite X-30 sockliner which provides soft step-in comfort.

The GT-4000 has been constructed using a FlyteFoam Blast midsole which provides the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties. These layers of protection, bounce, and comfort provide you with unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. Its reinforced fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run so that you can train harder, more frequently, and for longer. The midsole of the ASICS GT-4000 also contains rearfoot PureGEL technology, which absorbs the impact of each foot strike and provides a smoother transition as your foot rolls. This conserves energy and provides soft, bouncy cushioning. Completing the midsole is LITETRUSS technology which helps provide medial support for a smoother stride.
AHAR+ Rubber Outsole

This highly durable outsole works alongside the midsole to provide you with added comfort and smoother transitions thanks to the updated full-ground contact design.
