Engineered Mesh Upper
Utilising an engineered mesh upper, the GT-4000 4's keep your feet cool and comfortable during training and running. The mesh construction allows air to flow freely through the uppers of these shoes, keeping feet cool and preventing them from overheating during high-heat activities. Its brushed texture creates a softer feel and improves comfort while providing advanced airflow. A plush tongue and cushioned collar help prevent irritation from occurring, stopping dirt and debris from entering the shoes. The shoes feature a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot and reduces in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides. Completing the upper is an Ortholite X-30 sockliner which provides soft step-in comfort.
FlyteFoam Blast Midsole
The GT-4000 has been constructed using a FlyteFoam Blast midsole providing the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties. These layers of protection, bounce and comfort provide unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. Its reinforced fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run so you can train harder, more frequently and longer. The midsole of the ASICS GT-4000 also contains rearfoot PureGEL technology, which absorbs the impact of each foot strike and provides a smoother transition as your foot rolls. This conserves energy and provides soft, bouncy cushioning. Completing the midsole is LITETRUSS technology which helps provide medial support for a smoother stride.
AHAR+ Rubber Outsole
Supplying you with exceptional grip and traction on varying surfaces, the shoes utilise an AHAR+ outsole. Thanks to an updated design this highly durable outsole works alongside the midsole to provide added comfort and smoother transitions. A lightweight and durable so you can go further faster without added weight holding you back, giving you a comfortable ride. The rubber provides excellent abrasion resistance and durability giving enhanced grip every run.
