ASICS GT-2000 11 Women's Running Shoes
The GT-2000 11 is an everyday stability shoe, with an increased level of support to their predecessors, an adaptive fit and FF Blast Foam technology, making them a great companion for running various distances.
Jacquard Mesh Upper
Providing you with outstanding breathability, and optimised levels of comfort, the GT-2000 11s utilise a jacquard mesh upper. This offers you a supportive and comfortable foothold, that also adjusts to the shape of your foot's natural shape, for a secure sensation. The materials have perforations to supply feet with a constant level of airflow to prevent overheating and keep your feet feeling fresh and cool during running. Not only is the upper constructed with fewer seams to prevent irritation and abrasion, but it also provides a soft next-to-skin feel. Reflective details feature across the uppers to provide you with enhanced visibility when running or training in low light conditions. Finally, the shoes have a traditional lace-up system that works alongside the soft tongue and collar to ensure feet remain locked in and secure, during running, whilst also preventing in-shoe slipping.
At least 50% of the shoe's main upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
FF Blast Midsole
Providing feet with a lightweight and responsive rebound, the GT-2000 11s have FF Blast technology. The soft materials of the FF Blast cushioning help to promote softer landing, for a comfortable, injury-free running experience, which also works to return energy for bouncy strides. Additionally, this soft compound works with the rearfoot GEL technology through the midsole to improve impact absorption, providing an even softer feeling during footstrike. This compound reduces the risks of injury and discomfort occurring when you're striking down on harder and often unforgiving surfaces during running, to keep feet feeling fresh and comfortable from start to finish. The shoes also feature an OrthoLite sockliner to provide you with added cushioning and soft step-in comfort. Finally, to improve medial support and midfoot integrity, the shoes feature LITERUSS technology, therefore helping to contain pronation and enhancing support and stability.
The sockliner is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33%, and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to conventional dyeing technology.
AHAR+ Outsole
To enhance underfoot durability and ensure outstanding levels of grip on changing surfaces, the GT-2000 11s utilises an AHAR+ heel plug rubber outsole. This durable outsole will ensure grip and traction is ensured when traversing road running conditions. An ASICS LITE rubber is lightweight and stronger than standard outsole rubber, due to the bio-based cellulose nanofibre, and helps to create a smooth, more stable ride.
