Mesh Upper
Reconstructed with soft, flexible mesh vamp uppers, the Gel-Tactic 12 will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a healthier environment for your feet to thrive. The sock-like fit swathes you in soft stability, eliminating millimetres of movement with each stride. Printed reinforcements supplement the adaptive fit of the Gel-Tactic 12, supporting the lateral side of your foot and engaging with the lacing system to promote complete lockdown, therefore anchoring you to the midsole and reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free exercise.
GEL Technology Midsole
The midsole of the Gel-Tactic 12 will provide you with comfort, protection and responsiveness. The midsole is extremely springy, helping every step feel extremely comfortable. Creating excellent comfort, the GEL technology cushioning unit in the heel provides excellent shock absorption, reducing the impact and weight placed on the knees, ankles and other joints. Additionally, every step you take when running (or making short, sharp movements) is enhanced by the responsive midsole providing an added spring to help you push past your opponents. For improved stability, the midsole uses ASICS' developed TPU Trusstic System. This moulded component controls torsion, helping you to change direction at speed without fear of twisting or causing damage to the shoe or your foot. Underfoot plushness is provided by the sockliner, which is produced with a solution dyeing process that reduces water usage by approximately 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45% compared to the conventional dyeing technology
Durable Rubber Outsole
Grip and control on the court are guaranteed with the durable rubber outsole. Able to form a solid bond with the court surface, the Gel-Tactic 12 will keep you firmly in charge as you grip yourself into a solid position. The rubber is also anti-abrasion, which means that the shape and definition of the outsole will be retained. As well as this it can create a strong bond with any ground beneath it, helping you stay in full control. This will improve the long-term functionality of the shoe. The outsole also has the added benefit of being non-marking meaning you don't have to worry about damaging the court. The Turntruss-inspired wrap-up outsole rigger offers better support during side-to-side movements and the outsole flex grooves improve flexibility.
