Engineered Mesh Upper
Constructed using a breathable, engineered mesh upper, the Gel-Cumulus 26 GS (Grade School) provide small feet with an enjoyable, fresh wearing experience. Providing a constant level of airflow, strategic perforations feature throughout the fabric to prevent overheating and help little feet stay cool and cosy. This soft, flexible upper allows feet to sit naturally in the shoes, allowing them to bend and flex comfortably without restrictions. The uppers showcase synthetic overlays to enhance the structure, support, and durability of the shoes, ensuring unwavering confidence in their performance. A soft, mesh tongue works with a cushioned collar to keep the foot cool, prevent irritation and keep the foot secure during excessive movement. GEL Midsole
Providing smaller feet with underfoot cushioning and assisting with a natural running gait, the junior shoes feature ASICS' GEL technology. This provides excellent impact absorption, by sponging shocks when striking down, therefore reducing injuries and keeping your little one focused and enjoying every adventure. Additionally, the GEL technology creates a softer feeling during footstrike, whilst the rearfoot GEL cushioning system resides through the heel to provide even more shock absorption. This soft cushioned midsole provides a comfortable landing to push you through each stride for distraction-free running.
AHAR+ Outsole
For outstanding grip and traction across the pavement and other rough surfaces, Gel-Cumulus 26 GS uses an AHAR+ outsole, which provides a tough rubber compound on the outsole of the shoes, present in high-wearing areas for a longer-lasting, reliable pair of shoes. This outsole strongly grips the ground below, providing stability and keeping your little ones in complete control during their non-stop adventures. Flex grooves adorn the outsole, to provide your child with even more control and stability, providing a solid grip on sometimes changing terrains.
