ASICS Gel-Cumulus 26 GORE-TEX Running Shoes
ASICS' lightest and most cushioned Gel-Cumulus yet, its comfort will put your mind at ease on your run. The PureGEL technology improves softness and shock absorption to reduce the impact on your joints. An updated midsole combines FF BLAST PLUS foam with a FluidRide outsole to add comfort during your run.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Utilising an updated engineered mesh upper, the Gel-Cumulus 26 GORE-TEX will work to keep your feet cool, dry and comfortable when training or running in a range of conditions. The mesh construction allows air to flow freely through the uppers of these shoes, keeping feet cool and preventing them from overheating during high-heat activities. Not only this, but the uppers have a great level of stretch to prevent restrictions and allow your foot to flex, whilst simultaneously keeping your foot secure and comfortable when wearing. Further protecting feet in changing, unpredictable weather, the Gel-Cumulus 26 GORE-TEX have a GORE-TEX membrane which prevents feet from becoming wet and soggy thanks to its breathable, waterproof properties. To ensure feet are locked in and secure, the shoes have a traditional lace-up construction, alongside a plush tongue and cushioned collar to help prevent irritation or chafing from occurring and stop dirt and debris from entering the shoes. At least 89% of the shoe's upper material is made with recycled content to reduce waste and carbon emissions.
FF BLAST PLUS Midsole
The Gel-Cumulus 26 GORE-TEX utilises both PureGEL technology and FF Blast Plus through the midsole section. The PureGEL technology helps to absorb more impact for softer-than-ever landings and provides you with a smoother transition, supplying you with a pair of shoes you can rely on. This works alongside a full-length FF BLAST PLUS midsole to further enhance the cushioning, whilst providing you with lightweight impact absorption and a responsive level of rebound. Working in tandem to further cushion your landing and ensure the impact is absorbed, the shoes have a 2mm increased stack height providing the most underfoot cushioning to date. The midsection of the Gel-Cumulus 26s also utilises an Ortholite X-30 sockliner, which provides you with soft step-in comfort.
FluidRide Outsole
Supplying you with exceptional grip and traction on varying surfaces, the shoes utilise a FluidRide outsole. This highly durable outsole is combined with the FF BLAST PLUS foam to provide you with added comfort and smoother transitions thanks to the updated design. It has been constructed to be lightweight as well as durable so you can go further faster without added weight holding you back, giving you a comfortable ride.
