Crafted to be light and fast, the New Balance Venym have been built with FuelCell foam to deliver propulsion and speed with minimal weight and maximum traction.
Breathable Mesh Upper
Supplying you with a cool, breathable trail running experience, the FuelCell Venym utilise a lightweight and durable mesh upper. The lightweight uppers have a sleek design with a breathable feel, for the optimum level of comfort and confidence on the trail. Strategically placed perforations through the fabrics provide you with constant airflow, therefore ensuring overheating and a build-up of moisture are both prevented. The flexible nature of the materials allows your feet to move comfortably and naturally when out on tricky trails, keeping you stable and focused on the run ahead. The shoes have a plush, cushioned collar and tongue, for a secure, irritation-free journey. Working alongside this, the traditional lacing system provides you with a customisable, comfortable fit, which therefore keeps feet locked in and secure, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring. Completing the upper is Toe Protection technology which protects feet from rocks, roots and debris.
FuelCell Midsole
The FuelCell midsole compound is a nitrogen-infused foam with approximately 3% bio-based content that drives you off the cushioning platform quickly and delivers long-lasting performance. Delivering high-rebound, the FuelCell Venym creates an energetic propulsive feel with an ultra-lightweight running experience. The propulsive feel helps to drive you forward for an even faster feeling on race days. The midsole further absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as your heel strikes and uses the energy to catapult you off into your next step, allowing you to be faster still.
Hydrohesion Rubber Outsole
Designed to provide unrivalled traction and durability, the outsole of the FuelCell Venym has been constructed using a Hydrohesion Rubber outsole. When trail running it is imperative to have an assured footing, with difficult, unpredictable terrain often causing obstacles and challenges to your performance. The rubber outsole delivers an abundance of grip and traction to help fill you with confidence as you take on the trails and can maintain its high level of performance no matter what is put in its path. The outsole combines both trail and running lug designs to allow for easy transitions between on and off-road.
