Completing the upper, the shoes have a traditional lacing system to provide a secure, locked-in fit, reducing in-shoe slipping.
Fresh Foam X Midsole
The 880v15 utilises New Balance's Fresh Foam X cushioning. The latest model of Fresh Foam technology is a more energetic rebound than its predecessor. Absorbing shock impact, the Fresh Foam X midsole protects against joint stress when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces without compromising a responsive, natural ride. Delivering underfoot cushioning the midsole is a fusion of plush foam and advanced design, creating an ultra-cushioned and geometrically sound ride. Fresh Foam encourages a smooth heel-toe transition, reduces damage to the muscles and diminishes fatigue, allowing you to push further for longer. This midsole uses approximately 3% bio-based content to offer a smaller carbon footprint while providing incredible comfort.
